ACTIVE AUSTRALIAN MARRI HONEY TA35+

Our Marri Honey is collected from the rich and ancient Marri forests in the southwest of Western Australia. Sometimes referred to as Red Gums due to their deep red sap, the Marri trees yield beautiful cream coloured blossoms from which our bees source their honey. Though they emit a strong fragrance, the Marri Honey made from these blooms has a more subtle flavour profile.

Our Marri Honey has a very high Total Activity rating, which is uncommon in other Red Gum varieties.

What is Total Activity?

Total Activity is the measurement of the honey's anti-microbial quality, it's anti-microbial strength in killing bacteria. Any honey with a TA rating higher than 10+ has beneficial antimicrobial properties. The larger the TA number, the stronger the antimicrobial effect level of the honey.
